Wife had one for years.
Our present cat ate it one piece at a time.
He killed it eventually.
It used to bloom for thanksgiving and easter. I guess we didn;t rest it at the right times.

Hi, very nice job on growing.
There are two common cacti, one being the Thanksgiving cactus and the other the true Christmas variety. One blooms about thankgiving and the other later. Light triggers both varieties. Yours looks like the Thankgiving variety from the spikey leaves.
