have a sanyo lcd tv with the closed caption feature stuck on. emailed their tech dept and they said I have to buy a remote for $35 as that is the only way to turn off the "cc". can anybody help or do I just have to live with this annoying feature? Thanks.

if You have a cable box with a universal remote try calling your cable provider to program it to your t.v. or you can get a universal remote at wal mart for under 10 bucks. Try looking up the manual online get the model number and google sanyo tv model ##### manual see if there is a way thru the menu.

I HAD THAT PROBLEM TOO WITH MY TOSHIBA TV, TOOK ME MONTHS ;BUT MY FRIEND FINALLY FIGURED OUT HOW TO ROMOVE IT. A UNIVERSAL REMOTE DID HELP. GOOD LUCK........ MANDY

If it's the TV feature, the remote that came with it should work. Somewhere in the MENU
