I make this every year for Christmas Eve~You can half the ingredients to make smaller batch. This is the easy and the taste is out of this world. Hope you can make it sometime.
1 stick real butter
2 sm onions - chopped
2 cans Doxsee (Or your favorite brand) minced clams drained (I buy the large deluxe kind)
save the juice from the clams.
6 cans Campbell's cream of potato soup
3 cans campbell's New England clam chowder
2 qt half and half
Saute onions and clams in oleo. Add soups and half and half. Then if needed with clam juice. Bake at 200 degrees for 4 hours (I make this is a large roasting pan). Makes 7 quarts. It will be really thick and delicious.
