Just an opinion on swinger's clubs

Hello all my husband and I would like to address an issue we have experienced in our over 20 years in the lifestyle. That being the subject of clubs.

We have been to our fair share over the years, and each time we have left disappointed. Don't get us wrong we believe clubs present an excellent opportunity for introductions. But often that opportunity does not bare out.

The reason we feel this way is because generally it seems that club get togethers often end up with several individual cliques. For the newcomer this often is off-putting. Which is why Michael and I prefer one on one meetings with other couples. Now please don't feel like we're trying to take anything away from people who enjoy the club setting.

If you actually took time to read this we appreciate it and would love to hear your thoughts.

yes....... very true.. we go to clubs but with friends we have met and made out of the club scene. we dont go there to meet people.that is what makes it fun for us

Although we entertained the idea of swinger clubs, at one time, we're just to old and fat now, both of us will be 58 this year.....with that said, as with my bi-wife, all her "play dates" are with either friends or coworkers, she needs a "connection", I don't she could have gotten that at a swinger club...

Bikini neither Christina or I think you're to old or fat. In fact we still need to plan the get together lol

thanks for putting this out there, how does a single male navigate this, new but in 40s, where to start? i travel around and boards like this seem like they would be great but not much help. also, i dont judge appearance or ability or anything like that, dont know what to say about that, i dig you all - tim

I do not make alot of comments on this part of the board, but here it goes. We love going to swingers dances and yes there are alot of cliques same thing is true at nudist resorts.
What we learned to do at both is look for people like us not in a clique and make friends . Works everytime have met some of our best friends that way. Sue and rick

We decided to give a club a try and found it wonderful. There were two distinct groups in there. There were the "body beautiful" people in there wanting to be seen and the "normals" like us and , Thankfully, many others, we had such a great time that we wanted to go back, but by the time we were able to get away, the place had closed down. The next one we found was horrendous, badly ran, full of single men wanting my wife to have a gang bang with them. She is not opposed to a gang bang, but really didn't like the way they were trying to force her into it. Needless to say we never went back there!

we have been to a few diff ones . the 1`st was awesome . wife got eaten out while sitting on the bar by a women , while her husdand was sucking her boobs . best cpl we have been with . 2nd time house party sucked , i think one person talked to us he was in his 70`s we were in out 30`s , he asked my wife if she wanted to fuck ? she said no ! then he told every one she was a bitch ! so no one talked to us after driving 4 hours ... the last we drove 4 1/2 hrs to ohio , asked them if fridays were busy , he said yes we are always busy . when we got there he charged us $50 to get in . there was only him and his wife there , really ....
