Here's a recipy for a soup that the wife loves which we have during the day as a lunch or snack (usually I have two mugs full with two slices of multigrain bread for lunch).
Not only dose it taste great, it has the added bonus of tricking your body into burning off stored calories without actually feeling hungy afterwards.
Soup Ingredience:
4 Cloves Garlic 6 Large Spirng Onions (Scallions) 1/2 Bunch Celery 2 Green Peppers 1 Carton of liquid Stock Boullion ( 1 liter or 2 pints) 3 or 4 Stock Cubes 1 or 2 Cans Crushed Tomatoes (or Stewed tomatoes mashed with potatoe masher) 1 Can Tomato Soup (concentrate, like Cambles Soup) 10 to 12 Cups of Water *
* For variations use a combination of low salt chicken/beek broth and water to equal 10 cups.
NOTE: We like to add about 1LB of Butternut pumkin to the soup to give it added body & taste. Also feel free to add additional dry spices to taste.
