2 tbsp. butter 1 c. celery , chopped 2 onions, chopped 1 clove garlic , chopped 4 boneless chicken breasts , cubed or thighs 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. poultry seasoning 1/2 tsp. ground black pepper 2 cans campbells cream a chicken soup 3 c. water 5 carrots, chunked 3 parsnips , chunked 4 potatoes,chunked 1 pkg frozen green peas
dumplings 3 c. bisquick 1 1/3 c. milk
1. in large pot brown chcken ,celery ,garlic and onions in butter.add spices stir in. 2.add soups and water stir them up well. add carrots , parsnips and potatoes cook for 1 3/4 hr to 2 hrs or till veggies and chicken done. 3. add peas at end we dont really cook them they just get heated from it while dumplings cook 4. make up dumplings by mixing bisquick and milk drop onto boiling stew cover and simmer 10 min. then 10 min. uncovered.
i also just throw it all into crockpot and leave on low all day them make dumplings when i get home also add peas then
