harvest pumpkin cake
1 3/4 c. flour 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. cinnamon 3/4 tsp. nutmeg 1/2 tsp. ginger 1/2 tsp. cloves 1/2 c. butter 1 1/4 c. sugar 2 eggs 1 c. canned pumpkin 1 c. mini chocolate chips 3/4 c. chopped walnuts
glaze 1/4 c. confectioners' sugar 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon 2 tbsp. heavy cream
preheat oven 350* grease & flour loaf pan 1. in a bowl mix flour ,b.soda and spices together 2.in a large bowl cream sugar and butter. 3.beat in eggs stir well. 4. stir in flour mixture a little bit then some pumpkin then flour then pumpkin. 5.add chocolate chips ans half nuts . 6.pour into pan top with rest nuts 7. bake about 1 hr till toothpick comes out clean 8. make glaze up by mixing together spices and sugar add cream bit by bit till you get right consistensy 9. glaze cake while still warm.
can always use raisins instead a chocolate chips and make up in muffin tins
