Does anyone have a recipe that calls for fresh, (not canned) pumpkin. It would be very much appreciated. Thanks..

homemade pumpkin pie
1 sugar pumpkin 2 eggs 1 c. brown sugar 1 tbsp. flour 1/2 tsp. salt 1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1 tsp. nutmeg 1 tsp. allspice 1 tsp.cardemom 3/4 tsp. ginger 1/2 tsp. cloves 1 can evaporated milk 1 homemade pie crust or use store bought
1. cut pumpkin in half and remove seeds. bake cut side down on a lightly greased cookie sheet in 325* oven about a 30 -45 min till tender. cool till you can handle it then scrape pumpkin from shells. puree it in blender or mash it up. 2. beat eggs,add sugar ,spices,flour,and ev. milk mix it all up well. stir in 2 c. pumpkin puree. 3. pour into piecrust and bake at 450* for 10 min. then turn oven down to 350* and bake for 45 min. or till toothpick comes out clean from center.
cool.refrigerate over nite to allow flavors to meld .serve topped with whipped cream

your welcome and all the spices are ones we like and amounts we like you can play with it as you like also use pumpkin pie spice too

instead all the spice would use about 2 1/4 to 2 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice it has cinnamon ,ginger,and some a the others we just like to use ones we do
