I always keep it simple so you can taste the ham and use the pineapple rings with brown sugar. If you want the glaze to be a bit thicker, add a little honey. 1 can pineapple rings, juice reserved 1 cup brown sugar cherries, optional honey, if desired
Place the pineapple rings on the ham before cooking. Secure a cherry in the middle of the pineapple ring with a toothpick, if using. Combine the reserved juice with the brown sugar. Add the honey a little at a time to get it as thick as you want. Brush and drizzle the mixture over the ham the last half hour to 45 minutes of baking time. Extra mixture can be lightly drizzled over the slices when serving, also.
