Anybody have a good recipe for Pot Roast? I also need advice on choosing the meat.
Never cooked it before.

One of the easiest things to make, but I only know how to make it in a crock pot...
1 Boneless chuck roast, about 3-4 lbs I'd say 1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup 1 can french onion soup 4-5 potatoes, peeled and quartered, or use whole red new potatoes if you prefer 1 small bag of baby carrots 2 stalks celery, chopped 1/2 onion chopped salt and pepper to taste
Some people say to brown the meat in a frying pan before you put it in the crock pot, but I don't ever do it and mine turns out fine. Just put the veggies in the bottom of the crock pot, then put the meat on top, followed by the soups, then pepper it up and let it cook on low about 8-10 hours.
