1 large head of cabbage
Core cabbage and put in a large pot with water and cook just to soften the leaves and make easier to roll. Remove from pot and drain.
Sauce: 1 large can tomato sauce 1 Tbs cider vinegar 3 Tbs brown sugar
Put in saucepan and heat just til brown sugar is dissolved.
Filling:
2 lb. ground beef 1 1/2 Tbs chopped garlic 1 Tbs chopped parsley 1 Tbs dried basil 1 tsp salt 1/2 tsp pepper 1/2 cup bread crumbs 1 cup cooked brown rice 2 eggs
Mix filling together well (easier to do with your hands) separate the leaves of cabbage and place filling on leaf, fold and place in a baking pan, which has the bottom just coated with sauce. Cover with the remaining sauce and either put a lid on the pan or cover with foil. Bake at 350F for about an hour.

Reminds me of Christmas at Grandma's. I was raised on Polish food, Grandma was from Lithuania. I love cabbage rolls! Thank you Annamaria.

I hope you enjoy the recipe. Actually, I started with my ex's recipe and changed it a bit to make it my own. I made some last week and they sure didn't last long.....AnnaMaria
