Mexican Fiesta Dip MixThis mixture of dried parsley, onion, chives, chili powder and cumin is handy to have around for parties. It may be packaged and given as a gift. To serve, stir it into mayonnaise and sour cream.Ingredients: • 1/2 cup dried parsley • 1/3 cup minced dried onion • 1/4 cup dried chives • 1/3 cup chili powder • 1/4 cup ground cumin • 1/4 cup salt • • Method: Combine the spices and store in an airtight container. To give as a Food Gift, attach this to the container: To make the Mexican Fiesta Dip, combine 3 Tbsp. of the Mexican Fiesta Dip Mix with 1 cup mayonnaise or low-fat mayonnaise and 1 cup sour cream or low-fat yogurt. Cover and chill 2 to 4 hour. Serve with tortilla chips or fresh vegetable dippers. Makes 2 cups of dip. Notes: This is an unusual Southwestern dip mix that can be given as a food gift packaged in a plastic bag or a jar, set in a small sombrero.
