Pure YUM!!! So good and fattening you can only eat it in good conscience at Thanksgiving and maybe Christmas...Easy to make too!
1 2lb pkg frozen hash browns, thawed 1/2 C melted butter 1 can cream of chicken soup(or cream of mushroom) 1 8 oz container sour cream 1/2 C Chopped onions 2 C Shredded cheddar cheese 1 tsp salt(or you can use garlic salt if you prefer) 1/4 tsp pepper 2 C crushed cornflakes cereal 1/4 C melted butter
1. Heat oven to 350 2. Combine hashbrowns, 1/2 C melted butter, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, chopped onion, cheddar cheese, salt and pepper in large mixing bowl. Place mixture in a large casserole dish or 9X13 pan. 3. In medium saucepan saute crushed cornflakes in 1/4 C melted butter. Sprinkle mixture over top of casserole. 4. Cover and bake 40 min.
