The Ultimate Chocolate Beer Cake
This super moist chocolate cake is perfect for any occasion - a birthday, a holiday, etc. And is a must for any chocolate lover. Top the cake with traditional frosting or make the cake more exotic by adding strawberries and drizzled chocolate.

Makes 10 servings
Ingredients:
½ cup cocoa ½ cup water ½ cup beer 1 tablespoon vinegar 1 tablespoon vanilla extract 2/3 cup evaporated milk ½ cup margarine 1½ cups sugar 2 eggs - large 2 cups flour - sifted ½ tablespoon salt 1 tablespoon baking soda 1 tablespoon baking powder ½ cup semi-sweat chocolate chips
Preparing:
1. Preheat oven to 350 F.
2. In a small sauce pan bring water to a boil.
3. In a small bowl, mix the cocoa with the boiling water until it becomes a smooth paste.
4. Add the beer and let it cool.
5. In another small bowl, mix the evaporated milk, vinegar, and vanilla.
6. In a medium bowl mix flour, salt, baking soda, and baking powder.
7. In a medium/large bowl, blend the margarine with sugar until it becomes fluffy and creamy - adding the sugar little by little.
8. Add the eggs - mixing one egg at a time.
9. Add 1/4 of the flour mixture and mix.
10. Add the evaporated milk mixture and mix.
11. Add 1/4 of the flour mixture and mix.
12. Add 1/2 of the cocoa mixture and mix.
13. Add 1/4 of the flour mixture and mix.
14. Add the second 1/2 of the cocoa mixture and mix.
15. Add the final 1/4 of the flour mixture and mix.
16. Add the chocolate chips and mix.
17. Grease and flour baking pans - 9x13 inch rectangular pan or two 9 inch round pans.
18. Pour mixture into baking pans.
19. Bake for approximately 40 -45 minutes for the rectangular pan or 20-25 minutes for 2 round pans.
