now it getting close to st. patricks day starting to make it.will make about 100 by then for friends and family.
irish soda bread
preheat oven 350*
3 c. flour 4 tsp baking powder 1 tsp salt 3/4 c. sugar 1 c. raisins 1 1/2 tbsp. caraway seeds 1 egg , well beaten 2 tbsp. melted butter 1 1/4 c. milk
mix all dry ingrediants together. put in raisins and carraway seeds mix up . stir egg into milk. add butter and stir into dry mixture. put into greased and floured loaf pan . bake 45 min to 1 hr . or till toothpick comes out dry.
