I have a nice prime rib, about 6 lbs. I want to cook it for Easter dinner and I'm not sure how to go about it. Does anyone have a good recipe for prime rib. This site has some wonderful recipes that I've been trying out. Thanks for any help you send my way.
I know I am late but I always cook mine like this......first I put my seasonings on and rub it in the meat good, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and anything you like on your meat. Pre heat your oven to 500 degrees, once your oven is good and hot put your roast in and after 10 minutes reduce your heat to 350 then let it cook for 14 to 17 minutes per pound for medium rare. When you take it out of the oven let it sit for at least 20 minutes before slicing.
