Pork Chops and Onion Gravy (serves 8?)
8 pork chops salt and pepper to taste 1/3 cup oil- divided 1/2 cup all purpose flour 1/2 cup water 1 large onion- chopped 1 cup chopped green onions
Trim excess fat from chops; season with salt and pepper; In large skillet- brown chops lin 2 Tsp oil over med heat- about 4 min. per side. Remove. To drippings- add reamining oil and flour; mix until smooth. Cook over med heat 5 minutes- stirring constantly. Reduce heat to med. and cook 5 more minutes. Return chops to skillet, add water and onions. Reduce heat to low; simmer 20 min?.
